The House is Home

Pseudopodia of ectoplasmic elementals,
Rooting concrete with strange electricities,
And dead bolting doors with locks of exoskeletal bone.
Chords of see through tendrils burrow,
And bind,
Holding wooden beams in place,
And securing the limestone slab foundation.
Out of necessity,
Out of the need.
Influencing matter,
Bending will,
And the house is a home,
Forever and ever.
